An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and friendly Financial Management team, based at The Oast in Maidstone. This pivotal role is responsible for delivering high quality finance information and support to the Finance Business partner and her deputy.

The Management Accountant will contribute towards the preparation of the monthly Directorate and Board reports, produce monthly forecasts, manage their workload such that all deadlines are met, whilst completing work to a high standard and ensuring that accurate and timely budgetary control information is circulated to all budget holders in line with agreed reporting deadlines.  Regular meetings with a range of budget holders will be required, and may take place at any of the Trust business locations throughout Kent. The successful applicant will be an ambitious part-qualified accountant, with a high level of technical and IT skills and the ability to analyse transactions to provide service level financial reports in large and complex directorates. Dealing with a wide variety of professionals, excellent communication skills will be essential along with a forward thinking approach and a high level of motivation.

Part time applicants working a minimum of 30 hours will also be considered for the role.
