Helping you grow.

We have vacancies for Band 5 registered general nurses in our community hospitals in west Kent. We would love to hear from you, whether you are newly qualified, more experienced or are interested in returning to practice and share our passion for excellent patient care.

As part of an inpatient multi-disciplinary team at Hawkhurst Hospital, you will be working towards patient-centred rehabilitation goals ensuring safe discharge for patients into a community setting.

You will be involved in planning effective and safe care for patients needing holistic rehabilitation to promote independence, while getting to know your patients and giving them the time they need.

Found in the beautiful Kent countryside, each location has something different to offer you.

There are excellent local schools and facilities, such as country parks, theatres, castles, leisure centres, as well as other historical sites and good rail and road networks. It’s a wonderful opportunity to develop your skills as a nurse and adopt a new way of living in a new area at the same time.

This is what our patients say about us:

• It's homely, comfortable and everything you could wish for in a hospital.’’ Edenbridge

• Staff are friendly and helpful and got me on my feet.’’ Tonbridge

We are one of the largest healthcare providers in the country and here are six reasons to work for us:

• We listen to you, value you and want your career to flourish.
• We are committed to providing the best care we can for our patients.
• We are rated ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission.
• We are rated as one of the top places to work by the Health Service Journal.
• We are a foundation trust and have a Kent County Council Healthy Business Award.
• We provide excellent training opportunities.

Although these roles are based in one of our community hospitals, successful candidates have the opportunity to work across sites; encompassing our vision of one hospital, four wards – Edenbridge, Hawkhurst, Sevenoaks or Tonbridge.

We offer excellent non-mandatory training and time for mandatory training is protected. We also operate a flexible working policy and would welcome applications for both part time and full time positions.

Various hours would be considered.

Interview will be held on the 10th April 2018.
