An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the newly forming East Sussex School Health Single Point of Access (SPA) team.

You will work within the SPA to support the smooth running of the service, ensuring service users and stakeholders have a positive experience when accessing the service, accurate, regular data inputting and collection, liaison with our partner agencies and support to for the clinicians.

The successful candidates will need good clerical and organisational skills and an excellent telephone manner. Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel and email are essential. The role is varied but extremely busy and includes answering the telephone, taking messages, booking appointments, maintaining a variety of databases, managing the administration of incoming referrals and liaising with the teams across the county.

You must be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the team and service, produce accurate work, meet deadlines and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Travel will be necessary at times between bases and to attend training, meetings or to assist colleagues.

You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team, gaining valuable work experience.
