We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Resourcing Officer to join our busy Resourcing Team.  If you are driven, a fast-learner and passionate about good customer service, we have the job for you.

The Resourcing Team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) plays a pivotal role in supporting one of the largest community NHS trusts in the UK to employ and support a skilled, diverse and compassionate workforce.

The role of Resourcing Officer is a great opportunity for anyone interested in developing their career, or who has experience working in recruitment or a similar target-driven position.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • managing your own case load - recruiting to about 70 vacancies at any time,
  • managing the recruitment process from advertisement to appointment,
  • liaising with managers across the trust, providing advice and guidance on our recruitment and selection process,
  • maintaining contact with candidates to keep them up-to-date throughout their recruitment journey,
  • managing recruitment and selection training sessions,
  • travelling to various sites across the trust to attend team meetings and our induction programme.

We can offer:

  • a supportive and flexible working environment,
  • excellent training opportunities, with the possibility of studying for a recognised qualification,
  • competitive salary and excellent NHS benefits package, including NHS pension, annual leave allowance, childcare vouchers and salary sacrifice schemes for bikes, cars and electronics,
  • the opportunity to work for a respected organisation with a passion for delivering high-quality care and a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We are also passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of our colleagues and have a number of healthy lifestyle support schemes in place to support a good work/life balance.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, good written English, experience of working in a busy administration or recruitment team, an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.

If you are interested in the role and would like to speak to someone, or think you might not have quite the right experience but have all the right skills for the job, please contact Claire Green on 01474 360555.

We welcome applications from individuals wishing to further their knowledge and skills and gain a recognised qualification. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team, gaining valuable work experience. So if you do not have the essential qualification for the role, this may not be an automatic barrier to you being offered an interview. Details on pay and course length can be found in the documents attached to this job advert

Interviews will be held week commencing 5th March 2018.
