Do you thrive in a busy and challenging environment?

Can you think on your feet and motivate a team?

We're looking for a part-time band 6 Emergency Care Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly minor injuries unit (MIU) in Folkestone, East Kent.

You will ideally be a practitioner with two years' experience in emergency care. You'll need to be motivated and able to deliver a high standard of patient focused care in a busy MIU.

You should be able to work on your own initiative and at times take responsibility for the department, being willing to develop and expand your clinical practice within the service guidelines.

You will have A&E radiology (Red Dot) and evidence of specialist courses, demonstrating an ability to assess, diagnose and treat patients with Illness or Injury. In addition you must have evidence of completing an in-house training module for nurse practitioners (or relevant course for an Emergency Care Practitioner).

The post is part-time, but flexible hours will be considered. The post has been developed to cover shift patterns at Deal, however sometimes internal rotation across the service may be required.

Interviews are scheduled for 9th March 2018.
